I just received word that this photo placed 4th in the Photographer’s Forum magazine’s Best of College Photography contest 2011. This is pretty amazing especially since over 14,000 people entered. 4th place prize is $100, induction to Nikon’s Hall of Fame for Emerging Photographers, and the image is exhibited at Brooks Institute in Santa Barbra.
